Aakanksha Manjunath has always believed in the power of taking action. Since her days as a student, Aakanksha has been campaigning for causes she is passionate about around the world. 

Aakanksha co-founded the organisation It’s Not a Compliment, which was begun to tackle street harassment. It’s Not a Compliment has grown into a large organisation with a team of passionate volunteers. Aakanksha draws on her own experiences to create inclusive and empowering spaces that people from all walks of life can enjoy and feel safe in.
